Hardware & Connectivity

Make private CCTV networks connect to RaffsSync Monitoring without port-forwarding drama. Choose a tier based on venue size, security needs, and how “hands-off” you want the setup to be.

Tier 0 • DIY

Bring-Your-Own Router (Port Forwarding)

Lowest upfront cost, highest risk. Included only for completeness when a customer insists.

  • ✅ No hardware purchase
  • ⚠️ Requires router access + networking know-how
  • 🔴 Not recommended for security and reliability
Tier 1 • Default

RaffsSync LinkBox

Plug-and-play secure bridge. Outbound-only connection, no inbound ports, designed to be idiot-proof.

  • ✅ Outbound-only encrypted tunnel
  • ✅ Works behind CG-NAT and typical ISP routers
  • ✅ Best for cafés, restaurants, villas, retail
Tier 2 • Network Pro

RaffsSync LinkBox Pro

For managed sites that need cleaner routing and segmentation. Stronger network control for bigger installs.

  • ✅ Secure tunnel + advanced routing options
  • ✅ Great for multi-camera venues
  • ⚠️ Network bridge focus (no edge recording/AI)
Tier 3 • Enterprise

RaffsSync LinkBox Enterprise

For hotels, resorts, warehouses and complex multi-segment networks. Maximum headroom and stability.

  • ✅ High throughput secure connectivity
  • ✅ Best for segmented networks and “big jobs”
  • ✅ Ideal with switches / VLAN environments

Quick decision guide

  • Small venue, no IT staff: LinkBox
  • Medium venue with managed LAN needs: LinkBox Pro
  • Hotels / multi-building / segmented networks: LinkBox Enterprise
  • Only if customer insists: Bring-Your-Own Router

Tip: Wi-Fi cameras are fine. The bridge device should be Ethernet for stability.
